SPB 2024 - Kelvin Pena comes back to Centauros

Centauros de Portuguesa (SPB) inked experienced 43-year old naturalized Dominican 193cm shooting guard Kelvin Pena (college: Southeastern) for the upcoming SPB 2024 season.
It is actually his comeback to Acarigua as he has played here before. He played last summer at Broncos in the SPB. In 30 games he recorded 7.3ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.1apg.
Pena represented the Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) ten years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 5 games: 6.2ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.8apg, FGP: 38.5%, 3PT: 31.3%, FT: 66.7%.
He is a very experienced player. Pena has played also professionally in Colombia (Academia), Cyprus, Dominican Republic (Soles, Gregorio Urbano Gilbert, Caneros, Metros and Madre Vieja), France, Spain and Uruguay and Venezuela (Toros and Araguenos). He played in the final of Dominican Republic LNB in 2010 and 2015. Pena was voted to Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LPB All-Imports Team back in 2009 and 2013.
He graduated from Southeastern Community College in 2004 and it will be his 21st (!!!) season in pro basketball.
